When Adam Met Eve --- Liao Yingxi’s Aesthetics

Everyone had an ideal girlfriend, Ms.Liao’s husband wished to have a girl who could paint paint together, but to his surprise, the girl was even more busy than him. The girl drove her car and boarded plane to take part in the exhibition. Her husband had made a joke: “ why did you enjoy the air condition and paint?”

The microscopic world was behind the giant sculpture

 We are living in a world after Adam met Eve. Ms.Liao like writing poems that was thought to be a romantic color in creating. She thought love and passion were a happy and pleasure thing, and it was a good thing that Adam and Eve had been expelled from the garden of Eden. It was a kind of liberation. Irony or illusion, life was very hard, and why did we emphasize the pain to the leaving? Therefore, Liao Yingxi’s sculpture was always round and fat, full of love and hope.

Adam and eve were shaped in the same body by Liao Yingxi. No matter Adam or Eve, it became a Nvwa with the body of male and female. Acutally this kind of Nvwa had a meaning that the female had to be self-improvement. On the other hand, Ms.Liao was taking herself as a example to make the sculpture. Probably artist had narcissistic tendencies, and her works revealed her big women's personality and ideas.
